It was a beautiful evening and a nice crowd gathered to enjoy a presentation from Cox’s chief technologist, Brian Fairless. Troy Segler introduced him and his assistant, another Cox technician, Carlton Williams, who operated the computer for backup information for Brian’s presentation.
       Many of us know of the superior service that Cox affords Oklahoma City area customers, but some of us didn’t realize is that Cox is on the leading edge of technology that provides such appreciated service. They are one of the largest television program providers as well as being one of the best. They have over 2000 employees in Oklahoma City, that provides the best television service as well as very superior internet services. They use high fiber coax cable and fiber optic network for distribution. Each has fiber architecture. Cox is in the process of making Bricktown one big wireless area in the not too distant future. And that will lead to a lot more wireless areas.
       As far as their internet service is concerned, Cox has made it virtually safe and safe is beautiful. They enable parental control. Cox provides Pop-up blockers, anti-spyware, firewall, spam blockers - all working in the background for your convenience. As a Cox internet user, I can say that I have not had any trouble with spam and pop-ups like I did before I switched to Cox. We are indeed fortunate to have such a wonderful cable and internet provider in our city. Thank you, Cox.
