General Meeting Review for September 2005 -  By Liz Wright

Titled:   Any Potential Mac Users Out there?

The Computer Club of Oklahoma City encompasses the technology of computing and as such offers information to anyone who needs to learn more about what is available. Since the club is not limited to certain types of hardware and software, the September General Meeting was led by Mark Pennington who showed us the latest and greatest from Apple Corporation. Mark is with Promac Computers on the Northwest Highway in Oklahoma City.

Mark began the meeting by showing us one of the newest Apple Mac laptop computers. The power and usability of these machines was met with enthusiasm by the audience. As he progressed through his demonstration, it became clear that the interest shown by the members present would not wait until a post-demo Q&A period. Mark graciously consented to answer questions from the floor as he touched on each new feature of the machine, abandoning his pre-set demo for the more useful interaction with the audience.

For more information about the laptops and other Apple machines and software, visit Promac located at 4236 NW Expressway, #112 in Oklahoma City. The phone number is 841-2600.
