President’s Corner:     Take Advantage of Our Meetings!    March 2006

by Troy Segler, President - tgsegler@cox.net

As president of the Computer Club, I encourage you to take advantage of any of the meetings that occur monthly.  The purpose of the club is to learn from each other and to be encouragers to those who are learning about computers.  So many things are happening with the technology that it is difficult to keep up with new methods and processes for accomplishing some of the jobs that we thought were routine in past days.  If you need assistance, our hope is that someone in the club can help you.

Senior Net meets three or possibly four times a month.  Fellowship and snacks are always enjoyable and we typically learn how to solve a problem or two each week.  Sometimes we even learn how to avoid a problem as we listen to other’s experiences.  The Windows’ Tips and Tricks group continues to have a good turnout.

I invite you to select one or more Study Groups and attend this month.  Those in attendance are there to build relationships with others sharing the same interests in their hobby or work activities.

This is your club and we want you to benefit from it.  Send any suggestions to me via email (tgsegler@cox.net).    Thank you for utilizing the items on our web page.
